Nordine Ouabdesselam

After a relatively short stint of 4 years in public service at the Ministry of Finance and Trade as Inspecteur General des Finances and advisor to the Minister, I joined Airbus in 1987 and assumed the successive positions of VP Finance, in charge of Project and Customer Finance worldwide, VP for the Americas and VP Finance at ATR. In 2000, I took over the position of President United Technologies International Operations for south Europe, Africa, Middle East in charge of business development at group level for Otis, Carrier, Pratt and Sikorsky.

In April of 2005, I decided to go my own way and set up Janair, a company present in the field of aircraft leasing, trading and airline consultancy services. In this role of self entrepreneur, I was lucky to have met the Mirpuri family in Portugal, and among them Marianela who, through her enthousiasm, energy and boundless creativity was truly inspirational, particularly where it came to high end real estate where her knowledge and expertise is second to none. This bio would not be complete without a mention of my educational background both in engineering and Finance as a graduate of the George Washington University, class of 81.
