Architect

Gil Bakhtiar is a French architect and designer of Persian origin, who draws his inspiration from both cultures. The combination of Oriental refinement and Western rigor enables him to create a personalized universe for his clients, in which airiness and warmth, lines and curves mingle in perfect harmony. His wide experience and contacts allowed him to create unique projects around the world.

 

Based in France and Morocco, his designs projects reach around the world, including Asia and the USA, as well as Switzerland and other European countries.

The are no boundaries for such an aesthete who embraces all cultures as inspiration.

 

Examples of Bakhtiar’s projects include a hotel & spa for the Accor group in Martinique and Guadeloupe Islands in the 1990’s, Hotel du Golf & Spa, Brides-les-bains in 2004, a hotel & spa in Boulogne-sur-mer (in progress), Corporate Headquarters for BOSE France and H & R (Bayer Group).  He has also designed private residences: townhouses in New York and Paris and 2012-2014, a chalet is Switzerland in progress, a villa in the French Alps, Villas, and private apartments in France, Corsica, and Morocco.

 

His work has also included events, packaging, and design for L’Oréal Group such as Ralph Lauren (launching Safari Perfume), Giorgio Armani, Lanvin, Agnès B Shops (Berlin for art gallery & fashion), restaurants, hair  & beauty salons.

 

Gil Bakthiar has been invited to lead the Architecture & Design Team for HERA City.
