Ouided Bouchamaoui

In 2011, Ouided Bouchamaoui made history by becoming the first

woman to hold the position of President of the Tunisian Union of

Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts (UTICA) the leading employer’s

organization representing the industrial, commercial, and artisanal

sectors in Tunisia. During her tenure, she sought to promote

investment and engaged in negotiations with the Tunisian General

Labour Union to find solutions to various labor-related issues and

strikes.

 

In addition to her business endeavors, Ouided Bouchamaoui has consistently demonstrated a commitment to community work through the Hedi Bouchamaoui Foundation for the advancement of education and human resource development.
